Our business started in 2004 and grew from a desire to offer Hamilton and surrounds an up to date Diesel Mechanical repair workshop that took pride in offering the best service to large corporate businesses while looking after the smaller companies and single operators.
We also service and supply parts to all types of 4WD vehicles. Our large well set up workshop and large spare parts department allows us to employ up to 19 staff that can cater for all our work requirements.
With the reputation of offering a great service and with our involvement with Case as a sub dealer we purchased a Portland based Bobcat business which we renamed Hamilton Bobcat Contracting. The main reason we purchased this business is that we saw a need for a dry hire business specializing in earthmoving equipment. This allowed us to offer an expanding range of equipment such as skid steers, excavators, road brooms and other associated small equipment for hire while developing an earthmoving contracting business.
This has resulted in achieving long term contracts in the earthmoving field that will enable us to expand even further. With our growing reputation of having a good range of equipment we found that many of our clients not only wanted to hire our equipment but a growing number of enquiries were for us to actually do the work.
We then found we needed an experienced person to take on the role of Operations Manager. Wayne Hamill fitted the bill and he is now our 1st point of contact with this ever growing business. Hamilton Bobcat Contracting is very conscious of presenting our equipment in top order to our clients and this is echoed with our many clients and long-time hirers giving us very positive feedback.
We have since put on another operator to ensure that when a customer rings for a booking we can get the machine on site asap. All this in a little over 4 years shows we must be doing something right.
